1. ​Traveling Illini will inform active members via Discord of the date and time that RSVP for a particular trip in our lineup will become available on our website. Usually, this will consist of a digital flier in #kiosk or a message in Discord's #announcements channel.

2. Interested members will visit travelingillini.com, hover over the 'Members Only' tab, and then select 'Trip RSVP' out of the tabs that appear under 'Members Only.'

3. Once RSVP becomes available for the trip in question, active members then RSVP for by providing their name, email, and driver status. This RSVP is then recorded in our system along with a unique timestamp. No trip fee payment is required to RSVP.

4. Traveling Illini then creates the trip roster according to a first-come, first-serve basis. However, there are some notable exceptions to the first-come, first-serve basis:

        a. A driver who offers to drive their own, personal, vehicle on the trip will receive priority registration along with other discounts and perks.

        b. A Trip Guide Team member(s), designated by the Membership Director, may receive          priority registration to ensure adequate leadership and management of the trip.

        c. One individual member of the Planning Team who is deemed by our Trip Director to          have helped greatly with planning may also receive priority registration on a trip.

1. Traveling Illini sends out email invitations to a certain amount of the first members who RSVPd. The number invited in the first round depends on the size and scale of the trip.

2. Upon receiving the email invitation, members will be prompted to pay their trip fee at travelingillini.com via our PayPal QR code. Unless an error has occurred, a member paying confirms their spot on the trip. Thus, contact us promptly if payment issues arise.

3. If the trip is not full after the first round of invitations and payments, a second round of invitations will be sent to the waitlist in the order in which each member RSVPd. This process is continuously repeated until the trip reaches maximum capacity.
